Installation House of Tourism Mechelen

On behalf of architect Herman van Meer, Roel was askedfor a solution for decorating a large structural element (length 6 meters) inthe tourism house. To 'ease' and break through this heavy tension, it wascompletely covered with bristles. This creates a tactile wall that the visitorcan touch and feel, a separation that is open and closed. It is as if theconcrete beam has been specially constructed to create this installation, whileit is the other way around.
